Traverse de Harrington Harbour - Service de remplacement durant la cale sèche de la barge Mécatina II du 3 juillet au 8 août 2017

Québec, le 28 juin 2017 – La Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) désire informer la population que le service de transport des marchandises et de véhicules entre Harrington Harbour et Chevery, normalement offert par la barge Mécatina II, sera assuré par une barge et un remorqueur, du 3 juillet au 8 août 2017.
Ce service de remplacement sera offert possiblement selon un horaire adapté, compte tenu du tirant d’eau de l’embarcation et des conditions de navigation changeantes dans le secteur. Pour le transport de véhicules ou de marchandises surdimensionnées, la clientèle est priée de contacter monsieur Brian Strickland, gestionnaire local, au 418 787-0120, pour organiser leur transport.
Rappelons que la barge Mécatina II sera retirée du service du 3 juillet au 8 août 2017 afin d’effectuer sa cale sèche périodique obligatoire au chantier maritime de L’Isle-aux-Coudres.

REPLACEMENT OF THE BARGE MÉCATINA II
DURING HER DRYDOCK FROM 3 JULY TO 8 AUGUST 2017
Québec, June 28, 2017 – The Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) would like to inform its clients that the cargo transportation service normally offered by the barge Mecatina II, will be offered with a tug and barge, for general goods and vehicles, from July 3 to August 8, 2017.
The replacement service could be operating on an adapted schedule, in consideration with the draught of the equipment used and the prevailing conditions in the area. For the transportation of vehicles and oversized cargo, clients should contact Mr. Brian Strickland, local manager, at 418-787-0120, to organize their transport.
We remind that the barge Mecatina II will be removed from service from July 3 to August 8, 2017, in order to undergo her periodical and compulsory drydock at the L’Isle-aux-Coudres shipyard.
