PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY (PRM)
The Société des traversiers du Québec is committed to providing a safe and accessible service to all its passengers. If you have a disability or reduced mobility, please notify our staff as soon as you arrive at the ferry or when you make your reservation. We will ensure that you have easy access to the passenger decks.
Companion Traveling Free of Charge
When a person requires the assistance of a companion due to their condition, the companion may travel free of charge upon presentation of a recognized and valid companion card.
- Accepted Companion Cards
- Leisure Companion Card (CAL);
- Quebec Intercity Transportation Companion Card;
- Adapted Transportation Access Card confirming the need for an attendant;
- Access 2 Card.
Need for Assistance in an Emergency
If you require special assistance or specific care in an emergency, please inform our staff as soon as you arrive at the river terminal or when boarding. Our teams will then be able to make the necessary arrangements and provide you with the appropriate assistance as needed.
Your safety is our top priority. Please do not hesitate to report any condition or limitation that may require special assistance during your crossing.
PETS
All pets must be kept on a leash.
STAIRS
All passengers must stand clear of the stairwells before docking.
CAR AND TRUCK DRIVERS
When boarding:
- Wait for the green light or attendant’s instructions before proceeding.
- Drive slowly onto the ferry.
- Park in the space you are assigned.
- Apply the parking brake and do not move your vehicle once parked.
- Turn off your engine.
- Do not leave any belongings in plain sight and lock your doors.
- Use caution when walking between vehicles.
When offloading:
- Please wait as long as possible before starting your engine.
Wait for instructions before driving onto the ramp.
Note: The Société des traversiers du Québec is not responsible for a vehicle that could break down on its ships. In such circumstances, the towing of the vehicle will be at the expense of its owner.
MOTORCYCLISTS
Please stay close to your motorcycle during the crossing. Be especially vigilant if the crossing is rough and when the ship is docking.
CYCLISTS
Please walk your bike on the boarding ramps.
GROUP OF 15 PEOPLE OR MORE
Plan to show up 10 minutes before ferry departure.
