Harrington Harbour – Chevery Ferry
Clinging to the side of a tiny rocky island overlooking the sea, Harrington Harbour is renowned as one of the most picturesque villages in Quebec. The village was the setting for the popular homegrown movie Seducing Doctor Lewis. There are no roads or cars in Harrington Harbour, so people get around on foot, by bicycle or by all-terrain vehicle (ATV). The wooden walkways that crisscross the village add even more charm to the picture-postcard scenery here. Visitors can enjoy watching the fishermen down on the wharf and keep their eyes peeled for seabirds, whales and passing icebergs.
Daily passenger service between the village of Chevery and Harrington Harbour is provided by water or air.
Operating: from May to November.
From November to April, passenger service is available by helicopter. In winter, snowmobiles can take the ice bridge on the Route Blanche trail to cross the river.
